History

Precision imports has a rich history of specializing in complete foreign and domestic auto repair opened its door in February 1st; 1980.  Dick Horan founder and president had spent many years running other people’s business.  He saw the opportunity to improve the auto repair industry and deliver the best possible service to his customers.  Opening his repair facility on the west side of Manchester on Amory street with no lifts, Dick originally specialized in Imports only.  Precision Imports soon out grew their first location and moved to Calef rd. off of Elm Street, where they enjoyed that location for 7 years.  Soon Precision Imports once again out grew it location and moved to 84 Upton St.  Upton Street was a great location and allowed Precision Imports to continue to grow & started servicing both foreign and domestic vehicles. The Upton street building was in need of a remodel and was very expensive to heat and eventually the land developers for Shaw’s Supermarkets approached Dick and asked him if he wanted to sell his property.  Dick had created a great business and was not ready to move on to a new adventure.  The land developers came back with the offer of a land swap to move Precision Imports one block away and build Precision Imports a state of the art; energy efficient building built to Dick’s specification.   After construction 183 Faltin dr opened in 2003.  With a state of the art building Precision Imports thrived and was able to have a building that matched the talent that it housed.  Precision Imports was the first 4 Star Bosch Authorized Service Center in New Hampshire specializing in both foreign and domestic auto repair.  We have 4 ASE Master Technicians and 2 Bosch Master Technicians.
